PRESIDENT OF M-B NCNW SECTION
Vicky Evans-McCrarey
MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Welcome, and thank you for visiting the Mitchellville-Bowie Section of the National Council of Negro Women's, Inc. (NCNW) website. We are pleased that you are taking an interest in our vital Mission. As President for the past four years, it has been my honor to continue to push forward the goals of this great organization, originally set forth by our fallen leaders Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, and Dr. Dorothy I. Height.
NCNW celebrated 75 years of making a difference and reaching out to the community to bring awareness to Health, Education, and Cultural initiatives in order to enhance the quality of life for many African American Families. The strength of this organization comes from the solid commitment put forth by each dedicated member who strive to support our National Office; now under the leadership of Dr. Barbara L. Shaw.
As one of the two sections supporting the Prince George's County area, it is our pleasure to share our Mission, and some of the results of our efforts. We believe in giving the families within our communities the best part of us. Join the Mission of NCNW, and help us continue this Legacy of Hope, Outreach and Love!
